What desserts do you offer for weddings?

We make cakes, cupcakes, dessert bar spreads (including tarts, cake pops, mini donuts, many hand pies, mini cookies, and more) or any combination of this you'd like.

When should I book my cake consultation?

In general, couples decide on the location, theme, and style of their wedding before they book their consultation and tasting, This way, they know what design elements they will want to bring into the focal point of their cake and can choose flavors and decorations accordingly.

Do you reserve dates on your calendar? Do you book up completely?

Some dates do book up completely. Because we are a small boutique bakery and want to completely focus on providing exceptional quality for the events we DO take, we limit how many events we commit for any given day.

If you are certain you want to reserve us for. your celebration, you can always put down a deposit to reserve your wedding date before you decide on what to order. Once you decide of your cake or dessert spread, we will apply your deposit toward your order. This way, you're guaranteed to be on our calendar.

Are your cakes priced per serving?

Our cakes are priced by the size of the cake (so one of our 8” cakes will cost the same whether its for a party or a wedding). The difference is that caterers tend to cut wedding-sized portions smaller than party-sized portions.

Factors that affect the price: Whether the cake is stacked and thus needs supports; specialty flavors, fillings and frostings; the level of decoration and how much time the cake artists are going to spend to decorate your cake; whether you're having us add edible gold leaf, or fresh flowers, etc.

How tall are your cakes?

While a standard bakery’s cake is 4” tall (consisting of 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of filling), our cakes are closer to 6-7” tall, depending on the fillings chosen, and consist of 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of filling.

I’m getting a stacked multi-tiered cake; do all the flavors need to be the same?

No! In fact, we recommend different flavors for each tier so that your guests can choose their favorite combination. And because there are 3 layers of filling for each cake, you don’t even need to choose the same filling throughout! Think of a lemon cake with layers of strawberry jam layered over strawberry buttercream alternating with a layer of strawberry jam layered over lemon cream cheese frosting inside! SO much brighter and more delicious than just having strawberry buttercream throughout​​​

Who makes the wedding cake delivery?

Typically our cake designers make the deliveries, along with a cake first aid kit (so they can repair any minor damage the may cake suffer in the box en route to its location). That way, we can leave the cake looking perfect at your venue. This peace of mind is the advantage of having us make the wedding cake delivery, although you may certainly designate someone to do the pickup for you.
